My pekinese is a 13 year old female and she is a feisty one. She however has a whole host of issues. She has back and leg issues which means that she is in great pain and requires medication on a daily basis.

Additionally she was diagnosed with a lesion in her liver, which unfortunately may be cancerous. Although I take good care of Nushka , last year she stopped eating . This was highly unusual as she loves her food , and was lethargic. She was admitted into the veterinary practice , and put on a drip etc. That is If I recall correctly, when I found out about the lesion. Nushka did not respond well in the hospital and it became apparent that according to all the professionals she was not going to pull through. I wanted to spend at least a day or so with her before releasing her from her pain and suffering, and then Maggie Lee asked if I would like to try acupuncture. I immediately accepted and Nushka was given her first treatment of Accupuncture.

Maggie Lee was extremely gentle and even more with Nushka. She was aware of Nushkas condition and I was aware that this was Nushkas last resort. Nushka had also lost a tremendous amount of weight. Maggie suggested a change of diet , due to Nushkas liver meridian. She also explained that she would try and stop the nausea , stimulate appetite, address pain and try and work on her life force. The first treatment was short due to Nushkas condition.

I brought Nushka home and she did not appear to show any improvement and so with a heavy heart I made up my mind that over the next 48 hours I would have to let her go.

Nushka woke up the next morning and as usual I placed her food in front of her and held my breath. I was surprised when she sniffed her food and then proceeded to eat !!!! I was absolutely amazed , and yet did not want to jump into conclusion. Something had shifted.

I am very close to my animals and know them very well. I periodically continued to give her small amounts of food during the day and she ate !!!

I think that the time frame we are referring to is July 2024′ Nushka is still with me today . Her appetite has resumed , she has put back all her weight alas :), and is managing pretty well, I have taken Nushka to Maggie on numerous occasions since then and not only was she taken off her anti nausea medication, but adores Maggie, and the lesion has not increased.

I and Nushka are living testimony of the wonders that Maggie performed , with her professionalism and art of acupuncture. I will continue to take Nushka to Maggie at all costs.

I am a firm believer of the miracles of acupuncture and now on animals. I am so excited that finally there is an awareness of the magic of acupuncture for animals.

Maggie Lee is a true healer!!!!

Thank you Maggie !

Please see video attached which is current as she loved her balls, and had lost complete interest. In fact she likes to dribble the ball with 1 paw, just like a soccer player , and she has done that too. I will capture on video and keep sending these precious moments.
